Happy Purple Day Everyone,
Chelsea and I are reaching out to you today, to wish you a Happy National Epilepsy Day and thank all of you of who have sent your photos and messages to uplift our community's spirits. I'm sharing two photos, celebrating with purple pancakes.
As I write this from my home office, I can hear the young children playing in their backyards, the birds chirping, busy building their nests. These familiar sounds help me to know that our normal lives will return, or perhaps we will adopt a new normal.
What is important right now is for all of us to do our part, stay home, check in on our friends and family and wash our hands. But having said all of that, it is vitally important that we take care of our mental health, which is equally important as our physical health. By staying connected with loved ones we can help reduce the isolation we might be feeling. Take time to try to maintain your "normal" schedules, let's focus on our good news stories, even if it's just for today.
Chelsea and I have adopted measures to keep you and us safe. If you require anything, please contact us, through email, and all other social media. We are here to help.
Happy Purple Day, Dianne and Chelsea
