Purple day Heart

March is national Epilepsy Awareness Month! We encourage our community members to get involved in raising awareness about epilepsy, seizures and seizure first aid in as many ways as possible. If you, a loved one, a colleague, or an acquaintance has epilepsy, take this opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of everyone living with seizure disorders.

Dear Friends,

I am pleased to extend my warmest greetings to everyone marking the 30th anniversary of Epilepsy Durham Region (EDR).

Since it was founded in 1987, EDR has raised awareness and provided a wide range of programs that improve the quality of life of area residents who are living with epilepsy. This milestone offers a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the history of your organization, to celebrate your many acheivements, and to set goals for the future.

I would like to commend the members of EDR, past and present, for their advocacy, and for helping those with epilepsy lead fulfilling, independent lives. Your dedicated efforts on behalf of patients and their families are greatly appreciated.

On behalf of the Government of Canada, I offer best wishes for a memorable anniversary

Epilepsy Durham Region is excited to launch our 30th Anniversary Signature Collection Jewellry line! Two signature pieces are now available - a sterling silver bracelet with amythyst charm and sterling silver 18 inch necklace with amythyst charm, with additional charms available to customize your piece just for you!
